tattoo convention recap.

the convention was really good this year! it was nice to see old friends and make some new ones. sorry, i didnt take any photos at the convention, my hands were busy carrying various items. i found so many things that i wanted to take home, but only made one purchase.

i have long been a fan of all things prada, but when i first saw the spring/summer 2012 line, my heart skipped a beat! im sure most of you have seen it by now, but if you have not, youre in for a real treat. now that the weather is warming up i daydream about owning any one of these pieces, or all of them (lets be honest). 

hot rod/classic car inspired fashion... nothing gets better than that!

slc bettie page store first peek.

if you havent had the pleasure of visiting our bettie page store, here is a little peek for you! the store is very cute, but we are still getting everything situated. it will be getting a mini makeover in the coming months as we acquire lots of vintage furniture and props.

so far we have had a lot of really great feedback. the ladies seem to love us! i really like that we can appeal to a diverse customer. we have everything from rockabilly dames, to conservative gals, to retro ladies, to sweet moms coming in to purchase our dresses. 

and stay tuned... soon we will be carrying more mens and little girls attire!

this gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts was started a few years ago by the boys of pangea speed, bolts action, and short fuse and takes place the first monday of every month.

sun, rain, sleet, snow... doesnt matter. these boys (and a few ladies) ride.

if you live in the salt lake city area, come on down to este pizzeria around 7ish. have some great pizza and make some new friends.

im back!

i cant believe i survived last week. my new job is to die for. so far i love everything about it! the best part is that i get to be in charge of merchandising and i get to go shopping for lots of retro props for the store. i cant wait!

to congratulate myself on my new job, i decided to buy myself some gifts. so, i became the very first customer at our little store. my receipt says  "transaction #1" haha!

i purchased the bettie page glam leopard dress, the lux de ville getaway matching wallet and purse, and tres noir ultra lux tortoise sunglasses!

eeeeeek, im so excited! but as my boyfriend kindly reminded.... now it is time for me to save money for viva!
